14: Multi Select
In this week’s episode, we discuss a brand new Multi-Select feature Elegant Themes is building into Divi in the very near future. We can’t wait to get our hands on it and try it out.
What’s up Divi addicts? Welcome to episode number 14 of the podcast. Today we’re talking about a new Sneak Peek that Elegant Themes just dropped and it is multi select for the Visual Builder. Let’s jump right into today’s episode.
So here’s the deal we’ve all been on our computer since we were young, right? We’ve we’ve been trained to multi click and to hold CTRL to shift between different files to select multiple things inside of folders, whether you use a Windows or a Mac computer, it doesn’t matter, the process is the same control command all those different features, you know what they are, I know what they are Elegant Themes knows what they are. And that’s what’s exciting. Elegant Themes is taking this visual builder to a whole another level, in my opinion they’re bringing in, they’re bringing in features that are so commonplace inside of other user experiences, and bringing them into a world that has been clunky and code editor driven. And that’s what I love about what Elegant Themes is doing. They’re bringing that bring a value to you and me whether it’s the freelancer, whether it’s the individual business, who purchased Divi, to do their own website by themselves, you know, to go the DIY route Elegant Themes is bringing you value.
And that value is in saving time. So, you know, I’m really excited for what they’re doing. And this multi click is gonna work exactly the way you’re used to, you jump into the Visual Builder, you click a section, you click a row, you click a module, and you selected all these things, you can delete them at once, you know multi click all these different things and delete. But the power, you know, we talked about the copying styles in an earlier episode, you and those are awesome copying styles is amazing. I’ve used it personally in designing many of the websites and new features and updates I’ve done to either my site or client sites, but being able to highlight or select, let’s say six calls to action at once, jump into the settings and change the settings on all of them. At the same time. You know, it’s great to be able to copy and paste and those still be used for that. But to be able to highlight them all, and edit them at one time is just more efficient, it saves time, right. And time is money.
So I’m excited for this multi select feature inside of the Divi Builder, I think it’s going to be an amazing addition to the toolset that we already have. And it’s going to further help us be able to deliver value to our clients and getting sites loaded faster, get them live faster, you know, getting them built in design faster. And all of that is a net positive for us as a business and for our clients. And that’s exciting. And that’s what we’re here. That’s why we’re here. That’s why we chose Elegant Themes is because I know day in and day out, they’re gonna work their tails off to deliver the best product they possibly can.
So that’s another episode of Divi addicts in the book, I you know, I hope you all are really enjoying this, we’re excited to sit here and watch the numbers. But you know, we’ve hit Episode 14, here, we’ve been 14 weeks, we’re almost to four months doing this Divi addicts podcast, and we’re so happy to do it, we’re so super excited for it. And we hope that you love it. And we hope that it’s a great place for you to be able to keep up with what’s going on with Divi, and hopefully find a little bit of value in what we’re bringing to you because we’re enjoying doing this podcast.
And but what we would like, and what we’re really looking for is a little bit of feedback on where we need to go. You know, I love our format. It’s quick, it’s rapid fire. It’s just a quick intro into what’s really happening. But we want to know from you, we want to hear you, what exactly can we do to bring you more value here on the podcast, and to really take this thing to the next level.
So with that said, we have one favor that we need to ask of you is that wherever you’re watching this or sorry, wherever you’re listening to the podcast, share this out with somebody with one person that you know, doesn’t have to be your whole timeline. We don’t expect to expect that we never really asked for anything. But we do hope that you’ll share with one person, one business out there who may need a website or may need the the coaching, to get to do their own website and to actually take the step to go out there, learn the tools, find the process and actually start their site themselves. Either way, we’re happy we’re here we want to help. So we’d ask that you just share this with one person who’s starting their business or trying to build their personal brand. Share this with them and hopefully we will be able to connect with them and learn some things about what their needs are and how we can best deliver value to them.
So we hope you’ve enjoyed Episode 14 of the Divi addicts podcast. We appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. We’re so happy that you’re here and so happy that you’re listening to this audio right here right now. So we hope you have an awesome week. We will see you next Sunday with the latest and greatest from Elegant Themes and the newest features of Divi. So have an awesome week and we’ll catch you in the next episode. Peace
