Welcome to episode number three of season four of the Divi attics podcast where today we’re talking all about overlays and pop ups.

Alright, so we’re here we’re back episode number three season four, we’re here talking all about Divi overlays. And this is another one of those plugins that goes into just about every site that I build with Divi and all the sites I build are with Divi. So the reason for it is that Tim, Tim Strifler and the team over at Divi life created a completely functional, like customizable, limited only by your imagination, pop up builder. Basically you take the Divi overlays, it adds it into a custom section in the back end of Divi and you create new overlays. And when you do that, it’s like building a new design a new layout in the front end, you can build it, drag it, create whatever things you want use video, any module that’s available in Divi. And then you can trigger the pop ups to happen from different places. So you can tie them to a button, text links, images, you can even put them in the in the header menu, you can set them to be time delays, scroll delay, or you can make it even where when people go to exit your site that they pop up.

And you can handle those independently, you can manipulate the way the close looks, you can or the close button, you can completely change them. And on top of that they’ve even given you some some demos, some pop up layouts that come with Divi overlays. Now if you want to buy it for just a single website, it’s only going to cost you $15. Now that says, As of today, you know the very beginning of August 2019. It’s currently set at $15. For one site, if you want to do three sites, it’s $29. If you want to go Unlimited, it’s $59. And all three of those are for one year support and service. If you want to go a little bit longer than that pay a one time price and never worry about it again. They do offer a lifetime option for $129. I went the $129 route. I’m a huge fan of lifetime, especially when they offer they offer a lifetime and multiple other options underneath that. And the reason for that is the same reason I like Divi.
Keegan 2:55
They do offer a lifetime subscription. But they also offer an annual subscription. And I know that most people that that via plugins like this or themes like Divi, don’t go for the lifetime, it’s a smaller portion that goes for lifetime. So they’re still getting the recurring revenue annually on people who are going to renew. But that’s a completely different side topic. The Divi overlays is awesome, because you can use it for so many different reasons, you can have a trigger that pops up and has a video in it. If you wanted to do something like that for a product or for a tutorial video, or really any kind of video in about you video or a highlight reel. Then you also have the option to do a pop up overlay for a contact form. So rather than having someone click contact us load a new page, go to that page, scroll down fill the contact form, you can have it where there’s a call to action button in your menu. As soon as they hit contact, an overlay pops up immediately and has your contact form. They fill it out and you’re good to go. And there’s so many other things pricing tables are another great option.
Keegan 4:04
And looking through some of the options on their site. I mean there’s just there’s so many options, you can have a search field. You can do the contact forms. You can do sign ups for your email list. You can do an image gallery and a slider if you want it there. The options really truly are limited only by your imagination. So check this out. Make sure that you go and look at Divi life.com, go to their products and look for Divi overlays, check out the demo sites because they’ve got a ton of different, different triggers and demos that are available for for Divi overlays. It’s way more than just a modal mean you can pop up with contact information for maps and I mean I can’t say it enough There’s so much potential in this particular plugin. It’s just It’s awesome.
Keegan 5:05
So that’s another one. That’s really it for Episode Number three, it covers Divi overlays. I would again be very, very interested to see how you use Divi overlays. If you do go that route, and feel free to subscribe to the podcast, so that you don’t miss any of the upcoming seasons, and definitely the final three episodes of season four. In next episode, in Episode Four, we’re going to talk about formulator Pro. So stick around, hit that subscribe button and come back to the very next episode. We’ll see you in episode number four. Have an awesome day. And we’ll see you then.
Keegan 5:50
So before we get out of here for today, I wanted to talk about sponsors. You all have noticed we’ve added sponsor segments into the podcast. And those have been in here for a little while. In fact, we’ve retro actively gone back and pop them into a few. And I want to get your feedback, jump over to Twitter if or really anywhere that you enjoy having conversations and hit us up in the DMS. And let us know your thoughts on sponsorships. In a podcast. I know they’re the standard and a lot of people do them. Honestly, we don’t make a whole ton of money off of it. So our question is, is there a better different way that you would like to support the podcast? And even more importantly, let us know if the podcast is even bringing you value? Is it something that you would support in general by sharing or whatever, whatever you see fit more curious about that.
Keegan 6:40
And that’s a really weird transition and a really weird intro for a sponsorship. But we will end this episode with a sponsorship reads. So Have an awesome day and that sponsorship read is coming up next. Alright, that’s the end of episode number three. We hope that you will smash that subscribe button. Stay in touch with us if you’re using Apple products. Go ahead and leave us a review. If you find the podcast of value to you. Leave us a five star rating. Hey, if it sucks, and you get nothing from it, leave us a one star doesn’t matter. We just want people to be able to find us we hope if this is bringing value so we appreciate you being here for episode number three and season four. And we’re looking forward to the very next episode where we discuss form inator Pro. We’ll see you in episode number four
