65: Divi Efficiency – Saving Library Templates
In this episode, we talk about Divi Library Memberships and how to supercharge your development using layouts and the Divi Library
What’s up Divi Addicts, welcome to episode number 5.2, where we’re talking efficiency and how you can use the Divi library to really supercharge your development.
Oh, right, oh right episode number two, season five, or as we like to call it around here, Episode 5.2. Today, we’re talking about Divi efficiencies, library templates, layout packs, whatever you want to call them. That’s what we’re talking about today. And we have talked about this in the past. But this is an updated version, this is the new thing we’re talking about. And what’s really cool about this is that we’re tying this in right, we’re going to show you how to do things. We’re going to talk about these layout packs, but we also offer a membership. And we’ve talked about it in previous podcasts, it gives you access to an expanding library of layouts to help you save time, and speed up your development.
So if you go over to Keegan Lanier Media.com you can explore those layouts, and we got a great deal starting to cheap five bucks a month. I mean, that’s frickin that’s less than a meal at McDonald’s, it’s less than a shoot some cups of coffee at Starbucks, you get monthly access for five bucks a month access to all the current layouts, you can use them on unlimited sites. And it’s crazy, crazy low cost to entry to get you some some designed modules and sections and landing pages that you know are already done for you. You can also take the plunge sign up for the annual membership. It’s 50 bucks, which basically gives you two months for free but you get annual access access to all the current layouts, and you can use them still unlimited sites. And then we’ve got a very limited time offer. That’s a lifetime access $99 all future layouts never goes away unlimited sites and a one time payment.
So the beauty of this is that, you know, you can create these layout packs inside of Divi inside of the builder. And you could just export them to a JSON file. And then any other person who uses Divi anywhere else can just hit the up and down arrow that’s inside the menu inside of the Visual Builder. And you can open up the JSON file and drop that layout directly into the page. If it’s a full page layout, you can replace everything on the page. If it’s just a section, you uncheck don’t replace everything, or you uncheck replace everything on the layout. And it’ll drop the new layout that you’re importing to the very bottom. So you can mix and match and have building blocks. It’s kind of like Legos, it’s super freakin cool. But it’s unbelievably easy because of Divi’s portability, you’ve got the export import features, they’re built into the back end in the layout in the layout database. They’re also built into the front end where you can just drag the file in. And we have a video over on our YouTube channel. And we’ll link the YouTube channel up in the description below or in the show notes.
And that allows you to to really be able to walk through this process to see how it works. And to see the layouts get imported, and how to manage them inside of the Divi layouts library. Super cool, super efficient, and super, super easy. And this whole thing we’ve been talking about, you know, starting back with last episode is how to increase efficiency. This episode just piggybacks on that. We want to make sure that you understand these layout libraries are just phenomenal. I mean, not just the ones we do. But there are plenty of people out there who have layout packs that you can, you can download and import right into your website and just go. Now one caveat I will say about our layouts at Keegan Lanier Media.com is that each one of them is built individually. So there’s there’s a module and the module is coated with the Divi native features. There’s no, there’s no Custom CSS that needs to be added into the theme files or anything like that.
Any Custom CSS that we did add into the modules has to caveat and the thing that we do, I guess the prerequisite is that it has to be able to be added into the Advanced tab of the module itself only. Now if you don’t understand what that means, that’s quite alright. There’s nothing that you have to do except import them. But if you do understand what that means, you’ll know that that means that the setup process and the import process is so much easier because there isn’t a tutorial where you’ve got to copy this part of the code and put it in this section of the theme builder. And you got to copy this CSS and put it in the theme options. And then this stuff, you know, you don’t have to do any of that stuff. You just literally take the file, import it You should be good to go.
Now, we hope that this, no, it’s hard to wrap your mind around it in an audio format. But this is just to really say that the the value of what we’re doing here I think is huge, especially at a $5 a month price point. I think it’s huge for you. And if I were just starting out, I would absolutely want to do this. And that’s kind of why I built this, it was another there are people out there who are just getting started with Divi, if that’s you, I really believe that this membership is something that can benefit you, because we’re going to continue to develop. In fact, today, we just uploaded another three, a three sections, I guess, is the best way to put it. We did we took the blurb module and created three sections that can showcase services, or one of them is actually a social media follow setup. That’s that turned out really, really cool. So check them out at Keegan Lanier media.com, and I think they’re gonna bring you a tremendous amount of value.
But I really would love to know and hear from you. So if you do check them out, let me know what your thoughts are. If you sign up for the membership, I’ll tell you ahead of time how much I appreciate you. It means absolute world to me, if you think you can, you know if you can trust what we’re doing here. And once you do sign up and get those libraries or those layouts into your library, please let us know your thoughts how they’ve impacted you and share those projects with us.
So the that’s pretty much all we’ve got in this episode for the layouts, and how you can use those in the front builder. So we appreciate you. poll. We’re pretty amped. I’m so excited. It feels I feel rejuvenated to be here, back again every single week. That six week break just totally took me out of the game. I felt like you and I have not been as close as we were in the past. And we tried something, you know, we went out on a whim we shifted, and it didn’t necessarily work as we thought and that’s cool. That’s That’s great. That’s part of the process, right? It’s okay to fail, and then you just pivot. So we’ve come back, we hope we’re stronger than ever. bring yourself back, hit the subscribe button, stay in touch with what we’re doing. And let us know if there’s anything in particular any topics that we can cover to better suit you. Thank you and we’ll catch you in the next one.
