In this episode, we talk about what you’re going to be able to expect from us in 2020.
Setting clear expectations for yourself is huge. Without a clear path, it’s easy to jump from one thing to another without properly investing in reaching a single goal that could potentially change your life or your business. So in 2020, my goal is to be more intentional, and every action I take from life direction, all the way down to things I buy. There’s something called minimalism, and I can say, I really am 100% in line with the mentality of minimalism, but I don’t really consider myself a minimalist. But let’s get into the things that I’m going to focus on heavily in 2020. So these are things I believe will bring the most success and happiness not only to the community to you, and our business, but also to me personally.
So first up, we’re going to launch our first course, you know, looking back at 2019, this is probably the biggest fail. I wanted to launch of course, in 2019, it’s no secret, you can go back and listen to other episodes at the same podcast and see that I put it out there. I made it a major part of the first quarter of 2019 I recorded videos, I did outlines for the content, I even started building slides. The problem was it never saw the light of day. So in 2020 this will change retooling the content reshooting videos with better audio quality, and we’re working our tails off to bring you the Divi side hustlers course, obviously it’s going to be about Divi, but it’s geared towards anyone wanting to start using Divi.
As a side hustle, the focus will be minimal startup cost, and it will be built around tried and tested methods to get you going strong from the very start. I’ve spent years testing and failing before I found the workflow that really worked for me. This course will be built with saving heartache, frustration, and money in mind. The second goal is delivering 52 more episodes of this very podcast. Absolutely love doing the Devi attics podcast, and I can’t see it stopping. It’s hard to believe but we just crossed the 10,000 listen mark, and that is mind blowing. Like 10,000 times my voice has been heard on this podcast, which is crazy. But 2020 will continue this nearly two year run. And there are no signs of this podcast stopping.
So if you’re a fan, please stay here, subscribe, listen to the episodes each week when we drop them on Tuesdays, share it with a friend, share it with somebody who may be in a job that they’re unhappy with who you know, was creative, and could jump into this world. I would love to talk to them individually and see if there’s something that we can do in some way that I could help them make a little bit of money on the side and possibly turn it into a career. So the other content we want to increase is over on our YouTube channel. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can find the link in the show notes to our channel. Go ahead and watch a video or two and let us know your thoughts. So we plan on an additional 52 video tutorials. And we’ve got our content calendar started up already. So subscribe to that channel, turn on notifications, and get active in the comments. The you being active in the comments will help shape the content as we go through the year. So each of you have your own journey. And our goal has always been and will always be to drop knowledge to help make that journey a little bit easier.
So the last the fourth and final huge thing we’ll be doing in 2020 is taking a page out of the book of our friend Emil Amy Lynn Dino. She’s a major advocate for schedule blocking, and I’ll go ahead and link up her YouTube channel in the show notes as well so you can watch some of her incredible tips. Amy is a author. She is a YouTube star. She is a shrewd and awesome, amazing business person. Her husband, Vincenzo is a guy I ran into years ago at a conference in Dallas and stayed in touch with them. They’re phenomenal people and they’re really, really, really good at being efficient and really just helping brands be their absolute best. So check out Amy TV. Like I said we’ll link up to her YouTube channel in the show notes. become friends with Amy She’s amazing.
The schedule blocking is going to include all of my calendars from my main job, my side hustle and my personal calendar, trying to link them in the one. I think this is going to help keep structure in mind Life and hopefully keep me focused on the task at hand. So in case you can’t tell, I want 2020 to be an absolutely insanely productive year. So 2020 is here, and it’s time to take the training wheels completely off. We’re attacking our goals with 10x intensity. So reach out to us on Twitter at Keegan, el media, share your goals with us. Let’s build this conversation. Let’s build this community. And let’s keep each other accountable to our goals so that we can all push forward in 2020. And if you really, really truly love what we’re doing here, and you’re getting value from every episode, head over to Keegan linear media comm forward slash Patreon to support our work, it would mean the world to us would allow us to free up some time to create more content to help you along your journey.
